Workshop
More actions
The Workshop lets you craft gear, weapons, items, and consumables. You start with the workbench, a free basic bench which enables you to craft basic weapons and most types of ammo, and Scrappy, the rooster which passively generates basic materials as you explore Topside.
Each workshop station requires different materials to build and upgrade (up to level 3) and unlocks more items which can be crafted. Certain items will need to be unlocked by learning their blueprint alongside a specific workbench level to be crafted.

Scrappy
This rooster has been a resident of the workshop since the day you moved in, and likely long before that. Will periodically bring back dubiously-sourced materials and share them with you.
Scrappy brings you Metal Parts, Fabric, Plastic Parts, Chemicals, Rubber Parts, and Assorted Seeds.
In the table below, you will see the rewards given to you by Scrappy based on his level, the minimum amount of time you spent in the raid, and if you extracted successfully or not.
- You will need to spend at least 1 minute in a raid to receive anything.
- Surrendering 5 seconds in to a raid will not net you anything.
- The maximum amount you receive is anything over 15 minutes in raid.
- Spending 15 minutes or 40 minutes will net you the same amount of rewards.
- The time is the time you spend in the raid and not how long the raid has been going.
- If you spawn in to a raid at 18 minutes remaining and extract at 11 minutes remaining in the raid, you will gain the resources for being in the raid for >6 minutes, and not >15 minutes.
Note: Scrappy will hold up to 50x of each item, including Assorted Seeds, even though the UI shows Assorted Seeds as a stack-size of 100.
Values in table are base values. If you took the Expedition, your rewards will be almost 6% higher, but it is inconsistent. For around every 30 items you accumulate on Scrappy, you will get 1 extra of each item in your stash after claiming, up to a max of 50 after the expedition bonus. There is some inconsistency that is still being discovered, e.g. 20 or 26 items gives you +1, 48 gives you +2.

Blueprints
Blueprints are a core component of the Workshop system. They are used to craft specific items such as weapons, materials, and gadgets.
Blueprints are most reliably found in the loot containers of locked rooms, but can occasionally be rewards from quests.
A blueprint must be extracted before it can be used. Place it in your Safe Pocket to guarantee you'll be able to learn it. Once returned to Speranza, consuming the blueprint will add it to the relevant workshop station.
A previously learned blueprint will have a tick in the top-right corner of its icon, becoming easily distinguishable from unlearned ones.
