Weapons

Weapons (or simply guns) are implements that shoot projectile- or energy-based ammo. They are primarily used by Raiders to inflict damage, destroy, or otherwise cause harm.
Each weapon is organized into a class (e.g. assault rifle, shotgun) based on their shooting and handling characteristics, and they are loaded with a single type of ammo that dictates its efficiency at penetrating ARC armor.
Upgrades
Most weapons can be upgraded, or leveled up, at the Gunsmith to permanently improve how well they handle. The upgrade level of a weapon is indicated by the numerals I, II, III, and IV.
Weapons with the Legendary rarity cannot be upgraded.
Mods
Weapon mods, also known as modifications or attachments, are items used to adjust the properties of a weapon. Each weapon has a limited number of special slots that can accept mods. Unlike upgrades, weapon mods can be freely added and removed.
Raiders are encouraged to try different combinations of mods on their favorite weapons in the Practice Range.
