Amplified Weapons
More actions
Amplified Weapons are a set of weapons that can be upgraded to Level 5, unlocking Amplification slots that allow raiders to modify weapon functionality.
Requirements
To upgrade weapons to Level 5 and activate Amplifications, raiders must upgrade the following workshops:
- Gunsmith Level 4
- Research Station Level 4
Upgrading
Upgrading a weapon to Level 5 requires a specific Amplification Module matching the weapon's base rarity tier:
| Rarity Tier | Required Upgrade Material |
|---|---|
| Common | Amplification Module Mk. I |
| Uncommon | Amplification Module Mk. II |
| Rare | Amplification Module Mk. III |
| Epic | Amplification Module Mk. IV |
| Legendary | Amplification Module Mk. V |
Amplification Modules can be acquired from:
- the Fallen Emperor using an Emperor Gateway Conduit on Pendola Pass,
- the cargo inside the ARC Frigate during the ARC Frigate event.
Upon reaching Level 5, all weapons receive immediate stat enhancements:
- Every Level 5 Amplified Weapon gains +70 Max Durability.
- Most weapons also gain baseline improvements upon reaching Level 5, such as increased fire rate, reduced reload times, higher bullet velocity, or improved dispersion recovery.
Repairing
Repairing Level 5 weapons require Amplified Fragments. Repair buffs acquired from expeditions are percentage based, so Level 5 weapons greatly benefit from it.
Knocked out raiders drop amplified weapons with their durability reduced to 10%.
System Mechanics
Once a weapon reaches Level 5, players can select and activate available Amplifications. Once an Amplification is activated, it cannot be removed or changed.
Certain amplifications may be unavailable:
- until the corresponding Amplified Research is completed in the Research Station,
- until prior amplifications are activated first (e.g., Charged Burst requires Increased Burst),
- because another amplification conflicts with it (e.g., Burst-Fire locks out Full-Auto).
