Trials are weekly objectives that score Raiders based on level of completion. Raiders can earn awards and compete with others on a leaderboard to earn more points and a chance for promotion to higher ranks. Trials are unlocked at Level 15.

Weekly trials

Raiders are given 5 Trials Challenges every week, which can be viewed in the Trials menu. When completing an action listed in a challenge, Raiders will earn points towards that challenge.

Upon extraction, the Raider's points for each challenge are tallied. Only a Raider's best score in each challenge is kept. Reaching certain point thresholds grants the Raider rewards.

Season 4 began on April 28, 2026, and concluded on July 7, 2026, after a total duration of ten weeks.

Experience for damaging Bastions, Bombardiers, Leapers, Rocketeers, and Vaporizers is 2 per damage. XP shown on-screen when damaging these ARC machines will be double the actual damage done. The list below shows points per damage.

Progression

Divisions

Once a Raider has at least one point in a given week, they are placed in a division of 100 total Raiders, all of whom are at the same rank. Divisions are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis (e.g., the first 100 Raiders to score a point in Trials each week will be placed together, then the next 100 Raiders, etc.). Raiders are ranked according to the combined score of their personal best runs in each challenge. On Monday, Raiders will change ranks depending on their place in their division's leaderboard.

The exception to this is the Cantina Legend rank, which is reserved for the top 1000 players in Hotshot.

Ranks

There are 14 total ranks in Trials. Each rank rewards new cosmetics once the Trial season ends. Each rank title is split into three sub-ranks, with the exception of Hotshot and Cantina Legend. New starting Raiders begin at Rookie I, but in a new season, Raiders start at 2 ranks below their last placement (Daredevil II in Season 1 would let you start as Wildcard III in Season 2).

Rewards

There are two forms of rewards a Raider can receive from Trials: challenge rewards and seasonal rewards.

Challenge rewards

Challenge rewards are earned by reaching 1000, 2000, and 3000 points on a trial. These reward a random Uncommon, Rare, and Epic item or blueprint, respectively. Challenge rewards are claimed automatically after you extract from the map. Rewards can only be claimed once per challenge tier per week.

Season rewards

At the end of a season, Raiders are rewarded with cosmetics and emotes based on their final ranked placement. Finishing with a high rank rewards all the items from the lower ranks.
