Pendola Pass is the newest, upcoming map releasing October 8th, we don't know yet after how many rounds the map unlocks, the map stands out with a frozen environment and a mechanic tied to it : Flash Freeze, a fallen Emperor/Walker tied in the map and with dynamic loot zones (it may be expended to other map in the future) and also possibly, teased in the Ascending The Mountain Project a new way to extract, as that map is beyond the reach of the current tube system
Flash Freeze
Flash Freeze is a harder version of Cold Snap but integrated to the map (Pendola Pass), flash freeze may be indicated in game , when you are in the Flash Freeze you will need to find a shelter to hide from the cold.
