Field Depots (lore)

Field Depots have been set up all around Topside, primarily for the pneumatic delivery mechanisms found within. It’s common Raider knowledge that placing an ARC field crate inside the mechanism will send it to Toledo for further study, with the Raider receiving valuable resources in return.

The field crates themselves are something of a mystery. They can be found all over the Topside, said to be dropped by malfunctioning Probes and Couriers.

Examinations of the pneumatic delivery mechanisms within the Field Depots have led to speculation that they were constructed during the Exodus efforts to transport materials to and from the Tubes.

Shani has been overheard multiple times advocating for the continued use of the Field Depots, as it allows her and other Security staff members to learn more about ARC in general.
