Harvester is a map condition that spawns a Harvester structure protected by a Queen at a fixed location on each map. Raiders can complete the core activation sequence inside the harvester to reveal special loot containers, yielding legendary Equalizer and Jupiter blueprints.
Core activation sequence
1. Procure three fusion cores
Gather three fusion cores by breaching containers on the Harvester's upper level. One fusion core spawns on the ground in the center of the harvester.
2. Insert fusion cores into central pillar
Interact with the base of the central pillar to open chambers, and insert three fusion cores. All three fusion cores must be inserted in quick succession.
3. Destroy yellow targets
After inserting three fusion cores, twelve pulsating yellow targets appear within the Harvester. Shoot the targets to destroy them. The targets require an estimated 100 damage to destroy. Once all the targets are destroyed, containers open in the center of the Harvester, holding loot including 1–3 Equalizer or Jupiter blueprints.
Harvester defense mechanisms
Along with the Queen's patrol, the Harvester has defense mechanisms of its own. Raiders must avoid these countermeasures while completing the core activation sequence. The Harvester's defense mechanisms disengage once the core activation sequence is complete.
Fire Discharge
The Harvester periodically discharges fire, burning any Raiders inside. This is announced by a yellow warning light and warning sound. The exterior venting doors open, allowing Raiders to escape. The Harvester also appears to eject a capsule skyward from its exterior.
The Fire Discharge also ejects all fusion cores out of the central pillar. Destroying all yellow targets on one of the three sides, will cause the fusion core perpendicular to that side, to not be ejected when the next Fire Discharge happens.
Electrical Surge
After the fusion cores are inserted, the Harvester gains a second defense mechanism. The Queen will also become hostile and will target any Raiders inside the Harvester. The Electric Discharge is initiated by the Queen herself, which means that without her, the Surge will be unable to happen.
The Surge only depletes the Shield of Raiders and stuns them for a short while. This means that it can't kill, and therefore can be completely negated by unequipping your Shield. Unlike the Fire Discharge, the doors will not open when the attack is about to happen.
