Skills are unique features that grant Raiders passive improvements or new abilities. They are purchased at the Skill Tree using a special currency called Skill Points.

Obtaining

Raiders are rewarded one Skill Point each time they gain enough experience to level up, for a total of 76. Additionally, up to five Skill Points can be earned for each completed Expedition.

Skill tree

The Skill Tree is split into three "branches" that focus on different specializations: Conditioning, Mobility, and Survival. There is no restriction on spending Skill Points between branches, but many Skills only become available after a prerequisite number of Skill Points are spent in a specific branch.

Sometimes mistakes are made, or it is time to change things up. Raiders can spend 2,000 Coins per Skill Point to reset their entire Skill Tree. Currently, there is no option to reset individual branches or Skills.

Fight Or Flight When you're hurt in combat, regain a fixed amount of stamina. Has cooldown between uses. When hit by a player (not ARC), recover 2.82% / 5.90% / 8.97% / 12.56% / 15.64% of the full stamina bar 5 Blast-Born
Proficient Pryer Breaching doors and containers takes less time. Increases breach speed by ~5% per Skill Point. Last Skill Point gives a 10% increase. Breaching a door will take 7 seconds instead of 10. 5 Gentle Pressure
Survivor's Stamina When you're critically hurt, your stamina regenerates faster. ~25% increased Stamina Recovery (when hurt to where screen fades to grayscale) 1 Fight or Flight & 15 Points in Conditioning.
Unburdened Roll If your shield breaks, your first Dodge Roll within a few seconds does not cost stamina. Window of 20[2] seconds to roll at no stamina cost. 1 Proficient Pryer & 15 Points in Conditioning.
Downed But Determined When you're downed, it takes longer before you collapse. Default is 100 seconds, each level gives ~6 seconds.[3] 5 Survivor's Stamina
A Little Extra Breaching an object generates resources. Breaching gives 1–2 crafting materials. 1 Survivor's Stamina or Unburdened Roll
Effortless Swing Melee abilities cost less stamina. At 5/5, grants an extra 5 swings if standing for a total of 15, or an extra 4 swings if walking. 5 Unburdened Roll
Turtle Crawl While downed, you take less damage. 6.6% damage reduction per point. Maximum of 33%.[2] 5 Downed But Determined
Loaded Arms Your equipped weapon has less impact on your encumbrance. Weight reduction of 50%. 1 A Little Extra
Sky-Clearing Swing You deal more melee damage to drones. 5 Effortless Swing
Back On Your Feet When you're critically hurt, your health regenerates until a certain limit. Regenerates you back to ~30% health (after not taking damage for 30 seconds) 1 Turtle Crawl or Loaded Arms & 36 Points in Conditioning.
Flyswatter Wasps and Turrets can now be destroyed with a single melee attack. 1 Loaded Arms or Sky-Clearing Swing & 36 Points in Conditioning.

Sturdy Ankles You take less fall damage when falling from a non-lethal height. 5 Slip and Slide
Carry The Momentum After a Sprint Dodge Roll, sprinting does not consume stamina for a short time. Has a cooldown between uses. 3 seconds of sprinting with no stamina cost. Cooldown is ~8 seconds (needs further testing) 1 Youthful Lungs & 15 Points in Mobility.
Calming Stroll While walking, your stamina regenerates as if you were standing still. Only works while walking (not jogging, which is the default movement), this also applies while aiming down sights. Reduces time to fully recover stamina from 21 seconds down to 14 seconds which is a ~33% increase in stamina regeneration 1 Sturdy Ankles & 15 Points in Mobility.
Effortless Roll Dodge Rolls cost less stamina. 5 Carry The Momentum
Crawl Before You Walk When you're downed, you crawl faster. 5 Carry The Momentum or Calming Stroll
Off The Wall You can Wall Leap further.[5] 5 Calming Stroll
Heroic Leap You can Sprint Dodge Roll further. 5 Effortless Roll
Vigorous Vaulter Vaulting is no longer slowed down while exhausted. Vaulting is usually slower while exhausted, this skill eliminates that reduction in vault speed. 1 Crawl Before You Walk
Ready To Roll When falling, your timing window to perform a Recovery Roll is increased. 5 Off The Wall
Vaults on Vaults on Vaults Vaulting no longer costs stamina. 1 Heroic Leap or Vigorous Vaulter & 36 Points in Mobility.
Vault Spring Lets you jump at the end of a vault. 1 Vigorous Vaulter or Ready to Roll & 36 Points in Mobility.

Suffer In Silence While critically hurt, your movement makes less noise. 1 Silent Scavenger & 15 Points in Survival.
Good As New While under a healing effect, stamina regeneration is increased. While using a healing item (like Bandages), increases stamina regeneration by 18%. The effect does not work with shield recharging, and stops once the healing effect ends. 1 In-round Crafting & 15 Points in Survival.
Broad Shoulders Increases the maximum weight you can carry. Increases maximum weight by 2 points, per level, up to a maximum of 10. 5 Suffer In Silence
Traveling Tinkerer Unlocks additional items to field craft. Unlocks the following: Noisemaker, Blaze Grenade Trap, Smoke Grenade Trap, Lure Grenade Trap, Gas Grenade Trap, Herbal Bandage, Raider Hatch Key. You also unlock crafting grenade traps in Workbench in the Hideout. 1 Suffer In Silence or Good as New
Stubborn Mule Your stamina regeneration is less affected by being over-encumbered. Increases stamina regeneration by ~11.6% while being over-encumbered at max level. This is tested while standing still. 5 Good as New
Looter's Luck While looting, there's a chance to reveal twice as many items at once. When looting, the "search" animation appears on two items in the container, instead of one. When the animation completes both items are revealed. 5 Broad Shoulders
One Raider's Scraps When looting Raider containers, you have a small chance of finding additional field-crafted items. 5 Traveling Tinkerer
Three Deep Breaths After an ability drains your stamina, you recover more quickly. Reduces base recovery time from exhaustion[6] by 0.5s per point. 5 Stubborn Mule
Security Breach Lets you breach Security Lockers. This not only allows you to breach open Security Lockers but also open already breached Security Lockers. 1 Looter's Luck or One Raider's Scraps & 36 Points in Survival.
Minesweeper Mines and explosive deployables can be defused when in close proximity. Must be slow-crouch walking to prevent the mines and explosive deployables from triggering. 1 One Raider's Scraps or Three Deep Breaths & 36 Points in Survival.

Notes

  1. Values found through player testing; may not be completely accurate.
  2. 2.0 2.1 2.2 Further testing required for the true threshold.
  3. Some levels seem to round up to 7 seconds.
  4. Only affects sliding down slopes, flat ground is unaffected.
  5. Wall Leap is a jump starting from a mantling position on a ledge of any type. Needs distance testing.
  6. Exhaustion happen once stamina is depleted (flashing bar),recovery is the time after stamina depletion before you can sprint and roll.
