The Pop is a small, unarmored ARC machine that's often observed with the Fireball.
Attack
When in its aggressive state, the Pop quickly rolls toward nearby Raiders. As it approaches, it emits a beeping sound that increases in frequency the closer it gets to its target. Once close enough, the Pop detonates after a short delay, dealing heavy damage to a Raider's shield and health while destroying itself in the process.
Note: The Pop does not explode based on a timer, but rather on its proximity to a target.
Combat Tips
- Due to being unarmored, the Pop can be destroyed quickly with any type of weapon. They can often be heard or seen before becoming a threat, however, be cautious.
- Pops can sometimes spawn in locked key rooms and sit waiting directly behind the door. When you open the door, they may fly out and explode.
Attacks can be avoided by
- Shooting the Pop before it detonates
- Vaulting over edges where the Pop cannot navigate
- Creating distance between you and the Pop
- Dodge Rolling away as it "pops"
Loot
The Pop Trigger is a unique item dropped by the Pop that's used to upgrade the Explosives Station.

The Pop is a small, unarmored rolling machine; often compared to the Fireball. It's a quick, impulsive enemy that often roams in swarms.
Often found indoors, the Pop's purpose is thought to be clearing out rubble and blockages that may inhibit ARC's operations.
The Pop seems to have little regard for its own safety; carrying an explosive charge that "pops" upon impact, scorching any Raider that lets it get too close.
