The Pop is a small, spherical ARC machine designed to function as a self-guided proximity bomb. Typically deployed alongside the Fireball within large indoor facilities, the Pop serves as a potent form of area-denial, forcing Raiders to reconsider entering secured zones.
Combat tips
Upon activating combat mode, the Pop rolls at high speed toward its target while emitting a loud rhythmic beep. This signal increases in frequency as the Pop nears the Raider, culminating in a short delay before detonation. Raiders caught within the blast radius sustain significant damage to both shields and health.
- With just seconds to react before it explodes, switching to a fast-firing Weapon is ideal for destroying the Pop at close range.
- The Pop is usually unable to jump or climb obstacles, but it occasionally finds a way to surprise even seasoned Raiders.
Loot
The Pop Trigger is a unique item salvaged from a destroyed Pop. It is used to upgrade the Explosives Station.
Codex entry
The Pop is a small, unarmored rolling machine; often compared to the Fireball. It's a quick, impulsive enemy that often roams in swarms.
Often found indoors, the Pop's purpose is thought to be clearing out rubble and blockages that may inhibit ARC's operations.
The Pop seems to have little regard for its own safety; carrying an explosive charge that "pops" upon impact, scorching any Raider that lets it get too close.
