The Pop is a small, rudimentary ARC machine that is more-or-less a self-guided proximity bomb. Alongside the Fireball, the Pop is typically deployed inside large facilities or high-value locations as a form of area-denial.
Combat
The Pop passively moves around the immediate area of its deployment until it senses a nearby Raider. When this happens, it quickly activates combat mode to roll at high speed towards its target while repeating a loud beeping sound. The beeping increases in frequency until the Pop is in proximity to its target, and then explodes after a short delay. Raiders caught by the blast sustain a large amount of damage to both shield and health.
- Switching to a fast-firing weapon is ideal for destroying the Pop at close range.
- The Pop is unable to jump or climb obstacles.
Loot
The Pop Trigger is a unique item dropped by the Pop that's used to upgrade the Explosives Station.
Codex Entry
The Pop is a small, unarmored rolling machine; often compared to the Fireball. It's a quick, impulsive enemy that often roams in swarms.
Often found indoors, the Pop's purpose is thought to be clearing out rubble and blockages that may inhibit ARC's operations.
The Pop seems to have little regard for its own safety; carrying an explosive charge that "pops" upon impact, scorching any Raider that lets it get too close.
