The Outpost is a place to decorate and make your own, as well as to conduct experimental research too dangerous for Speranza.

To unlock the Outpost, you are required to complete the Sheltered Retreat found in the Outpost tab at the top of the menu screen. Once complete, you will unlock the Outpost allowing you to use materials to construct different rooms and floors of your Outpost, use the Research Station and decorate it using Furniture.

The outpost is not walkable for the Frozen Trail Update, but in the developer's have hinted that in future it might.

With Frigate looming in the skies, Speranzans seek to revisit the lost art of establishing a more durable Topside presence. Document old living quarters, collect supplies and distract ARC machines to establish your own Outpost.
