Communication Hideout is a Quest given by Shani after completing Lost In Transmission.
Objectives
IN ONE ROUND
Reach the Red Tower in Old Town
Find missing battery cell
Install battery cell in the Generator
Enable the power on the Generator
Boot the antenna terminal near the Red Tower
Rewards
- Aviator Outfit (Crimson Racer Color)
- Faded Flush (Aviator Color)[rewards 1]
- 1× Anvil III
- 40× Heavy Ammo
- ↑ This is unlisted in the quest menu, but listed in the Raider -> Customization -> Style section, and confirmed to be awarded upon completion.

Dialog
Introduction:
We've been losing signals in some areas of Buried City - my guess is that our equipment is acting up. You're quite skilled with repairs, aren't you? Could you check it out?
Upon Acceptance:
The signal issues seem to stem from the Red Tower in Old Town, so I'd check out the equipment over there first.
Idle:
Don't forget to check in on the radio equipment the next time you stop by Buried City.
Upon Entering Raid:
Shani speaking. The Red Tower Hideout is in the Old Town. I'll let you guess the color. See if you can figure out what's wrong with the radio equipment.
Upon Completion:
- "Communication Hideout" video plays.
- ↑ After the the Generator activation turn around, through the window, up the stairs, turn right to climb the ladder, then around the corner.
