The Tick is a small, spider-like ARC machine that leaps at Raiders.
Combat tips
When in its aggressive state, the Tick will make a robotic shuffling sound prior to it lunging toward the Raider's head. It will latch itself onto the Raider, slowly draining health and shield. Hold [interact] to dislodge the Tick. Once dislodged, the Tick will run along the ground to escape, and may try to lunge at you again.
The Tick can be often be heard before it's seen, spawning dormant at first on the ceilings or in the rafters of buildings and making plenty of noise as they jump down to aggress.
The Tick takes one hit from a Raider Tool to destroy, allowing Raiders to save ammo by destroying it with a melee.

The Tick Pod is a unique item dropped by the Tick that's used to upgrade the Medical Lab.

The bane of anyone who values their face-adjacent personal space, the Tick is a small, spider-like machine that leaps at Raiders, munching away at whatever exposed skin it can find. It is predominately found indoors, crawling on walls and ceilings.
The Tick is a relentless, parasitic creature that often attacks in small groups. While individual Ticks can be easily swatted off, hordes of them are another matter entirely.
The Tick's speculated purpose is to drive humans away from areas being probed for resources; acting as a contamination agent to create exclusion zones. Fortunately, Ticks emit a distinct sound when activated making their presence known.
Lance used to collect destroyed Ticks "because they are cute", hanging them from rafters and as ornaments in plants. He was talked out of this habit when children refused to enter his clinic.
