Traps are deployable devices used to hurt or hinder ARC and Raiders who trigger their effect. They can be placed on almost any surface with sufficient space to deploy. Traps are divided into two types: Laser Traps, which detonate when a visible laser it emits is broken, and Mines, which require proximity to detonate.

When placing a trap, there is be a small delay before it is armed. It cannot be triggered until then. Ordinarily, only the Raider who placed a trap has the ability to defuse and recover it for reuse. However, Raiders can unlock the option to defuse traps placed by other Raiders by choosing the Minesweeper skill in the Skill Tree. Traps can also be shot from a safe distance to detonate them.

Laser Traps

Laser Traps extend a visible red laser that stretches to 5 meters in length. When ARC or Raiders move into the laser, the trap triggers a grenade to detonate.
