The bane of anyone who values their face-adjacent personal space, the Tick is a small, spider-like machine that leaps at Raiders, munching away at whatever exposed skin it can find. It is predominantly found indoors, crawling on walls or ceilings.
The Tick is a relentless, parasitic creature that often attacks in small groups. While individual Ticks can be easily swatted off, hordes of them are another matter entirely.
Attack
When in its Aggressive state the Tick will make a robotic shuffling sound prior to lunging toward the Raider's head. It will latch itself onto the Raider slowly draining health and shield. Hold [interact] to dislodge the Tick. Once dislodged, the Tick will run along the ground to escape, and may try to lunge at you again.
Combat Tips
Due to being unarmored, the Tick can be destroyed quickly with any type of weapon.
Attacks can be avoided by:
- Shooting the Tick prior to it lunging
- Running behind a wall/large object.
- Running away from where you heard the noise
