The Wasp is a small, unarmored flying ARC that can be identified by its underbody machine gun.
Rarely alone, the Wasp is often accompanied by a swarm of 2-3 ARC. While easy to destroy, it can be deadly, when paired with its stronger variant, the Hornet, when you are low HP, or while fighting larger ARC threats.
Attack
The Wasp will aim a small red laser from its machine gun, before unleash a volley of bullets, in short bursts that deal a small amount of damage each.
Combat Tips
Destroying two of the Wasps thrusters will cause the ARC to start falling towards the ground. If it falls from a high enough height it can be instantly destroyed by it's own momentum. When any flying ARC is stuck on the ground long enough it will burst into flames.
The attack can be avoided, multiple ways
- Moving behind cover
- Hiding in bushes & foliage
- Staying out of line of sight when in alerted state
