Reverting

I delete the unreasonable ones, or ones that go against our current plans for the wiki. If you think it's unreasonable say why and I (or one of the other members of the team) might put it back Redstone Gamer 1 (talk) 22:14, 4 November 2025 (UTC)

I don't know how much you've been around but it is very common wiki etiquette to leave proper comments especially if reverting other people's changes. Reverting changes with each being "update page" is the same as having no change summary at all and appears malicious. Also who's the wiki team? Only people with additional permissions on this wiki are Justice and Luke, we all others are just contributors. Jertzukka (talk) 00:23, 5 November 2025 (UTC)

We have a group chat with a few of us, including luke and justice. We each have our own priorities, we have a map design guy, dread does a lot of code with luke, I do some code and do data gathering and most of the page formatting.

I've just had to deal with a bunch of people uploading AI slop and making really bad changes last week so my patience with edits was worn thin so sorry if it seemed rude. Redstone Gamer 1 (talk) 01:55, 5 November 2025 (UTC)

It's not accurate information in reality. It's a hard and loose rule for some ARC more than others.

Section moving

Why are you moving important info about items to the bottom of the page? (See: [1] or [2]). People who look up an item on the wiki are interested in what the item does, how long the effect lasts, how it interacts, whether can it be recovered after used. Putting this information at the bottom of the page below large tables like crafting, recycle, salvage is counter-intuitive to how most people actually use the site. I'm temporarily moving them, the top part is only used to give brief description for each page for link purposes. We're currently working on implementing cargo for cleaner tables then info about items will be moved higher up. Redstone Gamer 1 (talk) 22:03, 7 November 2025 (UTC)

Short description is already available in the infobox, having the same 1 sentence summary from the infobox is of no use. This wiki definitely needs a Style guide, and written by someone who actually has experience because whoever is coming up with these design decisions at the moment is griefing the wiki. @Luke @Justice Jertzukka (talk) 22:11, 7 November 2025 (UTC)

A lot of the changes were made temporarily and have just stayed longer than anticipated, we're going to be pushing a style guide soon and cleaning up pages when cargo is implemented fully since that's the priority. Redstone Gamer 1 (talk) 22:33, 7 November 2025 (UTC)

But setting up cargo doesn't change anything about the layout of pages, it only allows using data from one page on others? The layout can already be done now with templates now and I think the "data tables" section (not the infobox) is probably fine a little further below. --Ni (talk) 15:19, 8 November 2025 (UTC)

Removing information without justification

Dude you have a history of deleting peoples' contributions. That doesn't help the community. I added info on the steel spring page that detailed all the items you can recycle or salvage to get steel springs, and you deleted it, claiming it's "unnecessary" and said it will be added to all pages eventually. Well in the meantime, why not keep it there? What reason do you have to delete that objectively helpful information now without having something productive to replace it with? we're waiting to put the recycled from section until we have cargo in place, I talked about this with the rest of the team. People were complaining about stuff being messy so I was deleting or moving things to clean stuff up (some stuff was info that was repeated that on the page and unnecessary.)

I have definitely accidentally removed 1 or 2 things that were good additions but they got readded after I realized my mistake. Redstone Gamer 1 (talk) 17:51, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
