The Fireball is a small, lightly armored rolling ARC, found inside buildings Topside. It can be identified by its round shape with two glowing rings on either side.
Attack
When in the aggressive state, the Fireball will roll towards its target and open its front panel, unleashing a long burst of flames using its flamethrower. The Fireballs attack deals serious damage if caught in the flames. Once the Raider is on-fire, they will continue to receive burning damage that lasts for a few seconds (regardless of if it is done attacking or has been destroyed).
Combat Tips
While the front is open, its unarmored core is exposed. The Fireball is a relatively weak target and can be destroyed with reasonable haste with most weapons.
The attack can be avoided in multiple ways
- Shooting the Fireball prior to it attacking
- Vaulting over edges where the Fireball cannot navigate
- Creating distance between you and the Fireball
- Dodge Roll
Note: Once destroyed the Fireball explodes leaving behind a blanket of fire on the floor. These flames will light the Raider on fire if walked into.
