ARC are the most common enemy you'll face as a Raider. They are deadly machines that rain from the sky to ravage the surface of the Rust Belt.
They range from small, unassuming forms like roaming Surveyors and feisty Ticks to towering, multi-legged behemoths that dominate the landscape. Each ARC variant has its own strengths, weaknesses, and attack patterns, requiring different strategies to defeat.
ARC Behavior Stages
ARC have 3 behavior stages based on detection. Each stage is identified by the light emitted from the ARC's scanner.
- Blue Scanner indicates the ARC is patrolling or has no target
- Yellow Scanner indicates the ARC is alerted to a player's presence or is cautious
- Red Scanner indicates the ARC has found a target.
Note: ARC can jump straight to red from blue if shot. The scanner gradually shifts from red and yellow if a player is or is not within its scanner.

ARC Husks and ARC Probes
Husks are dynamic spawning, lootable, destroyed and long forgotten ARC scattered throughout the landscape Topside.
ARC probes come and go throughout your time Topside but will land in predetermined positions for some time before leaving after they've collected enough data. Sometimes you can find damaged versions of ARC probes that have been knocked over.
