The Sentinel is a medium unarmored turret ARC that sits atop buildings and ledges. It is always found outside and often in high locations overseeing an open area. Sentinels have a small vulnerable capsule attached to the rear of its swiveling arm.

Attack

The Sentinel will aim a thick orange laser at the Raider while tracking its movement. After a short time multiple lasers will converge onto the target, indicating the Sentinel is about to fire. Once the lasers converge onto the target it will fire a Heavy Ammo round after a short delay, dealing major damage. If the firing lasers converge after the target has left line of sight it will fire at their last known location.

Combat Tips

When fighting a Sentinel find solid cover. Its reaction time and fire rate is relatively slow, and can therefore be shot at faster than it reacts. Aim for the yellow canister on its swivel arm to deal increased damage

Attacks can be avoided by:

  • Dodge Roll
  • Sliding
  • Moving behind cover
  • Staying out of sight for extended periods
